Terra - "A mysterious young woman controlled by the Empire, and born with the gift of magic..."

Story Line: Terra is the first main character you recieve in this game. She starts out being controlled by the empire (that's what that cool magitek armor thing on the cover is all about.) She later decides to join the Returners and use her magic powers to fight against Kefka. Terra is half Esper and half human and for the first part of the game has a lot of trouble dealing with that. In the World of Ruin, Terra finds happiness and love looking after the children of Mobliz who have lost their parents. By the end, Terra has lost her Esper powers, but what she has gained from her experiences has finally let her be free. Story Line Score: 10

Overall Battle Performance: Being half Esper, Terra gets this awesome battle move called Morph. This lets her morph into her weird Esper form. What's it do? Well, it's not really usful in the beginning, but as her levels get higher, her morphing power lasts longer, sometimes even a whole battle. When she is in morph, cast magic with her, because it almost doubles the effect. Terra can also use the all-mighty Atama sword, which looks like a light sabre. It gets stronger (and longer) as her levels increase, doing lots of damage. The only bad thing about her is that she levels up kind of slowly, and if you don't have good armor on her, she'll take major damage. Overall Battle Performance Score: 9

Overall Contribution: Terra added really well to the plot of the story. Her character changes throughout the game were typical of Final Fantasy games, but were written well. The best part was that it didn't only center on Terra as a main character, but on all the others, too. Overall Contribution Score: 10

My Opinion: I liked Terra, even though I didn't use her as much as I should have. Her story was sweet, and I liked how they had her find happiness with the kids instead of wallowing in the death of General Leo (some people need to follow in her footsteps...you know who you are General Leo super fans.)
